Keep Things Simple: Wash Your Hands

I’ve been thinking more about the avian flu that has been a problem in poultry farming, and now we had started to see some of in dairy farms. Earlier in May, we learned of two dairy workers who had been infected with this virus.

I’ve talked before about protective clothing for dairy and other agriculture and farm workers. That is useful and I recommend that.

Then there are simple and old-fashioned ways to stop infection spread.

In my office, sitting on a shelf so it can peer over my shoulder at my work, is a Dr. Tony Fauci doll that promotes hand-washing. He holds a sign with a basic message: Keep calm and wash your hands.

Plain old simple hand-washing.  Good way to start whatever you are doing. Good way to end whatever it was you did.
