A customer enters Starbucks without a mask. The barista asks her to wear a mask per company policy and it goes downhill. However, this has a happy ending.

The customer takes to Facebook and is not so nice

Many people side with the barista. The customer doubles down. "Masks are stupid and so are the people wearing them," she posts.

In another post, she indicates that she is an “anti-vaxxer.”

This is starting to sound familiar—public health vs ideology. These beliefs are not new.

A Happy Ending in San Diego

Someone starts a GoFundMe page for the Starbucks barista. The barista says he will use the $65,000 raised to fund his passion for teaching dance to young people.

The customer? She is outraged and wants a cut of the money!!!
