To Mask... or Not To Mask? Blind Obedience

I was watching Jake Tapper interview Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) on “State of the Union” this morning.

The president is holding a rally in Tulsa, OK on June 20. The venue holds 17,000 people in an area where COVID cases are still increasing.

Tapper asked the Senator if he was going to “follow the guidelines and wear a mask.”

The Senator said, “I haven’t decided on that.” Then he went on to blather about how he “always wears a mask everywhere” he goes.

The kicker is that the organizing committee is advising people who attend the rally that they must sign a waiver (below).
