Is it Over Yet?

No, and I wasn’t trying to be a wise ass, either.

Here’s an update on what we are doing at Trillium Health.

  • We have moved to virtual visits—tele-medicine, tel-PrEP, tele-everything

  • We have a skeleton crew in clinic to see some patients who must be seen in person

  • Our pharmacy is delivery or curbside pick-up only

    • There is no pick up at the counter and the doors are locked

    • HIV testing by Home Test: We will mail one to you with instructions on how to use it

    • Syringe Exchange: Still operating, but people are given a package at the door and all other programs are suspended

    • Mental Health: Tele-psych only

It goes on and we are still operating, but it’s a very different time. As for me, I am out of the office and working remotely.

My Tuesday evening schedule is now virtual—it’s not the same, and won’t be the same for quite a while, I’m afraid.
