COVID Vaccine Notes
Pfizer has a vaccine ready to go.
Moderna has another coming soon after.
Both use a new technology. It’s called mRNA technology. The cool thing about mRNA is that as the virus changes and develop mutations, the vaccine can be adjusted quickly to overcome the mutations.
Q: What does vaccine do?
A: It leads to “Herd Immunity.”
Herd Immunity means that as more people are vaccinated and protected from COVID, there is less spread of virus.
The first vaccines will require two doses. You need both doses to develop serious immunity.
Vaccine will be in short supply initially - first up are health care workers, front line workers, and older people, especially those with underlying problems like heart disease, cancer and heart disease.
So - if your doc tells you to be vaccinated - do it.
