Social Distancing - Social Isolation

Social distancing is not perfect. Remember the isolation that comes with it. My long time collaborator, Dr. Ann Griepp, the first local AIDS psychiatrist says:

“I am urging people to be safe, sensible, but not to fear each other. I am not aware that panic improves disaster response.

Maybe prayer, meditation for a Healing world, writing letters, talking on the phone, social media, small dinners in our home with one or 2 people will allow us to bring out our strengths, support each other AND bend the curve on the spread of this disease

Let’s not lose our love and humanity while fighting this.

I think I said those same words in 1985 about HIV .”
