On Thursday, Oct. 12, I will be speaking at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Q&A session and opportunity to purchase my book until 2:00 p.m. (All book proceeds are donated to Trillium Health’s Fund to End the HIV Epidemic by 2020.)

I will be discussing the AIDS timeline starting with the emergence of the epidemic in 1981 through today's efforts to End the Epidemic by 2020. I will read excerpts from my book and describe the Rochester community's early response to the epidemic and the impact this response had.

I encourage you to come to the talk, get educated and get involved. Help to End the Epidemic by 2020. Registration is suggested, but not required.

You can register at: http://calendar.libraryweb.org/event/3593386
